Vanushi Walters to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: What support or funding, if any, does the Government provide to enable Māori representatives and representative institutions to participate in meetings of United Nations bodies on issues affecting them, and does the Government intend to maintain, increase or reduce that support in 2026/27?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: We are advised that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade does not provide funding for Māori representatives and representative institutions to participate in meetings of United Nations bodies.
