39168 (2024). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Does he agree with Dunedin Pride chairperson Meihana Pōtiki-Grayling, that it may be more difficult for people who have "intersecting identities" (i.e. queer and Māori, with a disability), seek treatment; if so, what, if anything, will he do about this?
Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that the Gender Affirming Primary Care initiative, is improving access to primary and community care for transgender and non-binary people by establishing community driven models of care throughout the country.
