Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised by WorkSafe New Zealand that the cost for module one training for the immediate support of the pilot launch and the standardised Temporary Traffic Management assessment framework tool kit falls below $50 per inspector. As the training modules are provided to WorkSafe at a fixed price and not on a per person basis, as further inspectors undertake the training, the cost per person reduces. As at 1 August 2025, 160 WorkSafe inspectors had undertaken module one training.
