Mike Davidson to the Minister for ACC: Was the Minister aware that the review into occupational diseases under the ACC Act initially included specific consultation with the poisoned sawmill workers on the grounds that they historically raised concerns about the risk assessment and criteria for assessing how PCP and dioxins affect human health?

Hon Scott Simpson: I am advised that Sawmill Workers Against Poisons (SWAP) were contacted during each stage of consultation on the Schedule 2 review.
