Hon Todd McClay: For the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, I refer to the Minister of Foreign Affairs’ response to WPQ 26460 (2026). NZTE has initiated 11 redundancy processes since 27 November 2023. For reporting purposes, a redundancy process is counted as a distinct organisational change, proposal or decision that results in positions being disestablished or reduced. Invest New Zealand was established on 1 July 2025. Following the Invest NZ Board finalising its new strategy, the agency initiated one redundancy process, resulting in eight redundancies.
