39119 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress has been made in the last quarter (January to March 2024) to ‘Formalise international research partnerships and connections’ under Outcome 1: New Zealanders have a system that delivers consistent and modern cancer care, as part of the New Zealand Cancer Action Plan 2019 – 2029?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that Cancer Control Agency - Te Aho o Te Kahu has continued to meet at regular intervals with international partners. Relationships include the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IRAC), Cancer Australia CE, International Cancer Benchmarking Partnership (ICBP), and the Canadian Partnership against Cancer. During this quarter the Cancer Control Agency continued to work internally with its Pou Tikanga and across agencies to develop frameworks within its work programme.
