39116 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Tourism and Hospitality: How many redundancy processes have been initiated, if any, in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, since 27 November 2023?

Hon Louise Upston: As Minister for Tourism and Hospitality, I have no responsibility for any government departments or Ministries. With regards to Crown entities under the Tourism and Hospitality portfolio, I am advised that since 27 November 2023, Tourism New Zealand has initiated 19 redundancy processes. During the same period, Qualmark has initiated 5 redundancy processes.
