Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress has been made in the last quarter (January to March 2024) to ‘Develop a robust equity-first prioritisation methodology to be used in cancer investment decision-making’ under Outcome 2: New Zealanders experience equitable cancer outcomes, as part of the New Zealand Cancer Action Plan 2019 – 2029?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during this quarter (January to March 2024) the prioritisation methodology was tested through the development of the Cancer Control Agency - Te Aho o Te Kahu 2024/25 work programme.
