39103 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress has been made in the last quarter (January to March 2024) to ‘Increase uptake of HPV vaccination’ under Outcome 3: New Zealanders have fewer cancers, as part of the New Zealand Cancer Action Plan 2019 – 2029?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised during the January to March 2024 quarter, Health New Zealand continued working through activities to strengthen the School Based Immunisation Programme (SBIP) where the bulk of HPV vaccines are administered. This included working with SBIP teams to improve operational processes.
