39080 (2026). Georgie Dansey to the Minister of Housing: How many Kāinga Ora properties in Hamilton, if any, had been continuously untenanted for more than 12 months as at 1 September 2026?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that six properties in Hamilton have remained untenanted for more than 12 months. The properties have been removed from service and are progressing through the First Right of Refusal and divestment process. This is also my answer to WPQ 39290 (2026).
