39045 (2024). Helen White to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: Can the Minister confirm she will be sustaining, at least, current levels of government support for the 193 providers of community support and advice that receive support in a range from $5,500 to $887,000?

Hon Louise Upston: No. It is not appropriate for me to take such decisions as these are operational decisions for the Ministry of Social Development. I am advised that the Community Support and Advice Output Class funds a range of programmes, services and supports. I am also advised there are many possible reasons organisations might experience changes. Examples include the ending of time limited funding, provider contracts expiring and procurement processes.
