39031 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Housing: How many redundancy processes have been initiated, if any, in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, since 27 November 2023?

Hon Chris Bishop: The former Ministry of Housing and Urban Development initiated six redundancy processes since 27 November 2023, as part of its phased internal change programme. Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities advises me that it has undertaken 26 change processes since 27 November 2023 that have resulted in one or more redundancies.
