39018 (2026). Scott Willis to the Minister for the Public Service and Digitising Government: Did discussions with Meta, Google, Microsoft, NVIDIA or Apple during the Minister’s trip to San Francisco between June 3 and 6 canvass New Zealand Government procurement of cloud, AI, or digital infrastructure services from those companies?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The meetings did not cover specific procurement or investment in Cloud, AI or Digital Infrastructure services from these companies. However, where relevant, I did relay key messaging from my attendance of the New Zealand: Destination for Data roadshow event in San Francisco, supported by Invest NZ.
