Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Does the Minister agree with the Mental Health and Wellbeing Commission Kua Timata Te Haerenga Mental Health and addiction service monitoring report 2024: Access and options recommendation that government commits to funding a planned programme of work to collect mental health and addiction prevalence data by June 2025; if so, what, if anything, is he doing to address this?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that work is underway that will address the Kua Timata Te Haerenga report, this includes work to address prevalence data; workforce shortages and increased acute community options.
