Hon Phil Twyford to the Associate Minister of Immigration: Does the Associate Minister stand by her comments at the 18 June 2024 Estimates hearing that she is confident all of the 600 visa quota for the Refugee Family Support Category 2023-4 will be issued given the latest statistics from Immigration NZ indicate that with one month to go the number issued is 442?

Hon Casey Costello: Yes, I can confirm that a total of 600 individuals were approved resident visas under the Refugee Family Support Category during the 2023/24 financial year.
