38967 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Health: Further to his answer in written question 37817 (2024), what are the options currently being explored?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that Telehealth provides a convenient and accessible way for patients to receive medical advice and treatment remotely, especially where in-person visits may not be necessary. I am advised that Telehealth has demonstrated that it can be used as part of a primary care toolkit to support GPSs in meeting overall patient demand for primary care services.
