38961 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Sport and Recreation: How much was the total cost in New Zealand dollar terms, if any, of redundancy processes initiated, if any, in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, since 27 November 2023?

Hon Mark Mitchell: Since 27 November 2023, Sport New Zealand has incurred $119,886.11 in redundancy costs. The Sport Integrity Commission commenced on 1 June 2024. The Commission implemented a new organisational structure, effective 1 September 2025. This process resulted in two people being made redundant. There were no costs associated with the redundancies.
