38934 (2024). Helen White to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: What plans, if any, does the Minister have regarding the continuation or potential discontinuation of government contracts with organisations such as the Salvation Army and Emerge Aotearoa Limited?

Hon Louise Upston: Decisions relating to contracting of providers is an operational matter for the Ministry of Social Development. I am advised that decisions such as this are largely determined by procurement or re-tendering of services as and when these are undertaken.
