38904 (2024). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: What abilities, if any, do either the Ministry of Education and Education Review Office have in terms of holding Private Schools to account?

Hon Erica Stanford: The Education Review Office reviews private schools on a regular basis, and reports its findings to the Ministry of Education and publicly. Private schools are required to meet the criteria for registration as a private school as set out in clause 2, Schedule 7 of the Education and Training Act 2020.
