38895 (2025). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Justice: How many people if any changed their enrolment on the Christchurch Central roll between 2 October 2023 and 13 October 2023 (inclusive)?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that the Electoral Commission is unable to separate people that re-enrolled or updated their details on election day from those that did so during the advance voting period as the date at which paper voting forms were turned in to the voting place was not recorded. However, I am advised that between 2 October 2023 and 14 October 2023, 5,159 people re-enrolled or updated their details on the Christchurch Central roll.
