38852 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Trade and Investment: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on consultancy costs, from 1 July 2025 - 30 June 2026?

Hon Todd McClay: For the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, I refer the Member to the Minister of Foreign Affair’s response to WPQ 38719 (2026). From 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026, Invest NZ spent $1.67m on consultants. New Zealand Trade and Enterprise spent $3,023,067 on consultancy costs from 1 July 2025 - 30 June 2026.
