38796 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Customs: How much was the total cost in New Zealand dollar terms, if any, of redundancy processes initiated, if any, in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, since 27 November 2023?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that since 27 November 2023, Customs has initiated eight redundancy processes, at a total redundancy cost of $5,153,639.42. This is also my response to Written Parliamentary Question 39000 (2026).
