38788 (2025). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: What consultation, if any, was undertaken with Vocational Education and Training and Tertiary Education providers and industry regarding the replacement of NCEA?

Hon Erica Stanford: Consultation on the proposed changes to NCEA is open until 15 September 2025. The Ministry of Education is liaising with key Vocational Education and Training and Tertiary providers to ensure they are informed about the proposals and to capture their views as much as possible.
