38785 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Treaty of Waitangi Negotiations: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on consultancy costs, from 1 July 2024 - 30 June 2025?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The Office of Treaty Settlements and Takutai Moana–Te Tari Whakatau spent $0.206 million on consultants during the period 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025. This amount relates to the consultancy part of ‘contractor and consultant’ expenditure reported to the Public Service Commission and does not include other specialist service costs that are excluded. The Ngāpuhi Investment Fund spent $47,880 on consultancy costs from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025.
