38685 (2025). Hon Priyanca Radhakrishnan to the Prime Minister: When the Chief Executive recommended to him that the American Proud Boys should not be re-designated as a terrorist entity under the Terrorism Suppression Act 2002, did the Chief Executive inform him that the National Security Board had recommended that the designation continue?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: I refer the member to my response to Written Parliamentary Questions 38648 (2025) and 38678 (2025). I was already aware that the National Security Board had recommended that the designation continue when I spoke to the Chief Executive of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet on 16 June 2025.
