38680 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Customs: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on consultancy costs, from 1 July 2024 - 30 June 2025?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that Customs does not separately record or report expenditure on consultants and contractors. Accordingly, the figures provided in the attached appendix represent the combined Customs expenditure on consultants and contractors for the 2024/25 and 2025/26 financial years, including both operating and capital expenditure. This is also my response to Written Parliamentary Question 38693 (2026).
