38670 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Climate Change: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on consultancy costs, from 1 July 2025 - 30 June 2026?

Hon Simon Watts: Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions & Transport: I refer the member to the Minister for the Environment’s response to written parliamentary question 38923 (2026). Climate Change Commission: I am advised that the Climate Change Commission's spend on consultancy costs from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026 is $1.391M. Please note that this figure is unaudited and the finalised figure will be available in their forthcoming 2025/26 Annual Report. NZGIF: NZGIF spent $371,567.76 on consultancy costs from 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026.
