Hon Priyanca Radhakrishnan to the Prime Minister: Did the Chief Executive of the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet have any communications with former Acting Director-General of the GCSB Bridget White regarding the designation of the American Proud Boys as a terrorist entity under the Terrorism Suppression Act 2002, if so, on what dates?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: At the time this redesignation was being considered by officials, Bridget White was the Executive Director, National Security Group, Department of the Priem Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). As such, she regularly communicated with the Chief Executive, DPMC and provided regular advice on a range of national security matters. I am advised that specific communications between Bridget White and the Chief Executive DPMC are included in the proactively released documents relating to the designation of the American Proud Boys that expired under section 29B of the Terrorism Suppression Act 2002 on 19 June 2025.
