38647 (2024). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What specific projects or areas will benefit from the 41 percent increase in funding for public transport services and operations?

Hon Simeon Brown: The public transport programme funding for 2024-27 is to fund existing public transport services, total mobility, and public transport infrastructure operations. The distribution of funding by region has been released as part of my announcements on this increased investment. New public transport services and investment in infrastructure projects will be confirmed at the adoption of the 2024-27 NLTP.
