38632 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: Further to his reply to Question 33993 (2026), how many, if any, of the 299 houses that Kāinga Ora recorded as delivered in 2025/26 that had not been issued a Code of Compliance Certificate (CCC) on or before 30 June 2026 received a CCC by 31 August 2026?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised by Kāinga Ora that 41 of these homes received their CCC by 31 August 2026. A CCC is not required for occupation of Kāinga Ora homes on Kāinga Ora-owned land. In some cases, homes are occupied while CCC documentation is being processed, and the timing of CCC issuance varies between Building Consent Authorities and regions
