38630 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on consultancy costs, from 1 July 2024 - 30 June 2025?

Hon Mark Mitchell: The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was previously hosted by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC) from 27 November 2023 to 24 September 2025. In my capacity as the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, I am not the Responsible Minister. The Prime Minister is the respective Responsible Minister. I therefore refer the Member to the response provided by the Prime Minister to PQ 38801.
