38630 (2025). Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister of Health: What is the total most recent cost estimate, if any, of methamphetamine-related harm to the NZ health system, and how does this compare with the previous 5 years, broken down by year?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that the Ministry of Health does not calculate the cost of drug related harm to the New Zealand health system. The Ministry refers to the New Zealand Drug Harm Index that quantifies the cost of social harm from illicit substances.
