38616 (2026). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Education: How many, if any, reviews or tests of the SMART tools readiness for service, privacy capabilities, security, hosting, procurement or delivery assurance have been conducted; both prior to the technical breach and since?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that seven reviews of tests occurred prior to the technical breach, and that additional reviews are underway following the technical breach. Furthermore, approximately 500 automated tests are run each day within SMART. This is also my response to Written Parliamentary Questions 38619 and 38620 (2026).
