38589 (2024). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Associate Minister of Education: Is there any process by which a State School, that was directed to convert to a Charter School by the Minister of Education, would be able to revert back to a State School; if not, why not?
Hon David Seymour: The Education and Training Amendment Bill does not contain a provision for charter schools to revert back to a state school. If necessary, a charter school would close and the Minister of Education may open a state school in its place.
