38588 (2024). Glen Bennett to the Minister for Economic Development: How much, if any, did each of the Minister’s relevant Ministries, Agencies and Departments spend on contractors and consultants for the week ending Sunday 23 June 2024?

Hon Melissa Lee: I have been advised that providing this information as a weekly breakdown is not able to be completed in the time available to answer this question. I have also been advised that spend per month will provide a more accurate reflection of the data, considering month-end accruals. I refer the Member to the information provided in Reply 38214 (2024). With regard to New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, please find below spend per month on contractors and consultants since November 2023: November 2023 $ 117,222.63 December 2023 $926,105.51 January 2024 $324,062.70 February 2024 $555,547.54 March 2024 $908,615.98 April 2024 $772,422.25 May 2024 $600,178.80
