38556 (2024). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: When the Minister met for an hour with Roger Beaumont on 18 December 2023 was the topic of a confirmation of payee system on the agenda, and if so, was the timeline for roll-out in New Zealand discussed at this meeting?

Hon Andrew Bayly: I can confirm that the NZBA’s anti-scam initiatives, including confirmation of payee, was on the agenda for this meeting.
