38528 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: How will the separation of NZTA’s roles as electronic road user charges regulator and retailer be implemented, and on what date will it take effect?

Hon Chris Bishop: The implementation and date for the separation of the New Zealand Transport Agency's roles as regulator and retailer will be considered once the market response to the legislative changes is clear. The implementation approach is still under consideration.
