38520 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: How, if at all, will he ensure that all New Zealand motorists – including older, digitally excluded, or low-income drivers – can access a fair, affordable and simple electronic road user charges service?

Hon Chris Bishop: The government aims to enable a system that works for all road users, with a focus on enabling fair and user-friendly services. This will include ensuring suitable options remain available for those who are unwilling or unable to engage with private providers.
