38518 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What enforcement or compliance challenges, if any, does the Minister anticipate arising from having multiple, private, third-party providers involved in administering road user charging?

Hon Chris Bishop: The road user charges system already involves third party private providers. Compliance and enforcement, including any challenges that may arise from having additional third-party providers, will be worked through as part of future policy design.
