38459 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Is Te Whatu Ora working on the trial of HPV screening self-tests by mail and if so, at what stage is this work?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that, as part of our focus on putting patients first and ensuring that all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare, the National Cervical Screening Programme Policies and Standards allow any cervical screening service to provide HPV self-tests by mail.
