38435 (2025). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Justice: Have any victims of historic abuse in state care who have been granted legal aid to purse a civil claim for that abuse been expected to repay any of the legal aid grant; if so how many?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I refer the Member to table 1, attached, for total number of legal aid recipients, who have been granted legal aid, for civil claims relating to historic abuse in state care (HAC), who had a repayment condition applied, for each calendar year from 2020 to 2025.
