38415 (2025). Hon Phil Twyford to the Minister of Immigration: How many Expressions of Interest were submitted to the Parent Resident Visa Ballot from 12/10/2022 to 31/7/2025, representing how many applicants?

Hon Erica Stanford: The change to a Parent Resident ballot was implemented by the previous Government when the member was the Associate Minister of Immigration. I am advised that from 12 October 2022 to 31 July 2025, 16,646 expressions of interest for the Parent Resident Visa were submitted to the ballot pool, representing 25,260 people.
