38407 (2025). Hon Phil Twyford to the Minister of Immigration: How many Expressions of Interest were submitted to the Parent Resident Visa Ballot from 1/12/2022 to 31/12/2022, representing how many applicants?

Hon Erica Stanford: The change to a Parent Resident ballot was implemented by the previous Government when the member was the Associate Minister of Immigration. I am advised that from 1 December 2022 to 31 December 2022, when the member was the Associate Minister of Immigration, 138 expressions of interest for the Parent Resident Visa were submitted to the ballot pool, representing 210 people.
