38397 (2025). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: On how many occasions, if any, has information provided by a member of the public to the 'digital road cone hotline' been passed on to the relevant road controlling authority (RCA) for further action?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that WorkSafe passes all valid notifications it receives through the road cone hotline to the appropriate Road Controlling Authority (RCA), including the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA). Between 3 June 2025 and 31 July 2025, 858 valid notifications were made to the road cone hotline and were forwarded to RCAs or the NZTA. Information on the location for each valid notification is reported on the WorkSafe website: https://www.worksafe.govt.nz/notifications/road-cones/road-cone-reports-data/
