38395 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: How many of the recommendations made by the October 2024 Gateway review of the National Ticketing Solution had been implemented by the time the programme's Christchurch pilot commenced in December 2024, and how many, if any, remained outstanding?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that none of the eight recommendations specified a timeframe for them to be implemented. As of December 2024, one recommendation had been implemented. Six of the remaining seven have subsequently been implemented and one remains underway.
