Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised by the Ministry of Transport that between 27 November 2024 and 4 August 2025, 8 employees in total were made redundant, broken down by month as follows: - December 2023 - 1 - January 2024 - 2 - December 2024 - 2 - January 2025 - 2 - July 2025 - 1 No redundacies were voluntary, and no employee who was made redundant has been subsequently appointed to another role within the Ministry. I refer member to the attached table for the requested breakdown. Of the 101 people made redundant between 27 November 2023 and 4 August 2025, 32 have been noted as Voluntary Redundancies. None of these employees have been appointed to a new role at NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA).
