Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: How will the revenue foregone as a result of cancelling the January 2027 fuel excise increase be met, and what proportion, if any, will be met by Crown grant, by Crown loan, by borrowing against the National Land Transport Fund, or by reducing planned investment?

Hon Chris Bishop: Cabinet has agreed to provide a Crown grant to top up the National Land Transport Fund to account for the reduction in fuel excise revenue.
