Camilla Belich to the Minister of Health: Since 27 November 2023, how many staff, if any, at ministries, agencies and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible have been made redundant, broken down by month and by (a) voluntary redundancy, and (b) all other forms of redundancy, and of those staff, how many, if any have subsequently been appointed to a new role at the same ministry, agency or department, broken down by employment status (contractor, consultant, permanent, part time) as at 4 August 2025?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that since 27 November 2023, there have been 98 redundancies at the Ministry. I am further advised that since 27 November 2023, there have been 1396 redundancies at Health New Zealand. I refer the Member to Written Parliamentary Question 38361 (2025) and the attached tables.
