Camilla Belich to the Minister for Tourism and Hospitality: Since 27 November 2023, how many staff, if any, at ministries, agencies and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible have been made redundant, broken down by month and by (a) voluntary redundancy, and (b) all other forms of redundancy, and of those staff, how many, if any have subsequently been appointed to a new role at the same ministry, agency or department, broken down by employment status (contractor, consultant, permanent, part time) as at 4 August 2025?

Hon Louise Upston: As Minister for Tourism and Hospitality, I have no responsibility for any government departments or ministries. With regard to Crown entities under the Tourism and Hospitality portfolio, I am advised that Tourism New Zealand (including Tourism New Zealand's subsidiary company Qualmark) has had no redundancies since 27 November 2023 as at 4 August 2025.
