38348 (2026). Hon Rachel Brooking to the Minister of Defence: What capabilities, if any, have been delivered by the Ministry of Defence and NZDF as part of the $300–600M indicative 2025-2028 Space capability budget?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: No space capabilities that were outlined in the 2025 Defence Capability Plan (DCP) have been delivered yet. The $300-600m indicative amount noted in the DCP is not a budget, and is subject to individual business cases and Cabinet consideration.
